On Broadway, "The Magic Show" was a one-act musical with music and lyrics by Stephen Schwartz and a book by Bob Randall. It starred magician Doug Henning and was produced by Edgar LansburyJoseph Beruh, and Ivan Reitman.  It opened on May 28, 1974 at the Cort Theatre in Manhattan, and ran for 1,920 performances, closing on December 31, 1978. Henning was nominated for the Tony Award for Best Featured Actor in a Musical and director Grover Dale was nominated for the Tony Award for Best Direction of a Musical.

Now, "The Magic Show" returns over four decades later in a reimagined, magical, musical spectacle.  Featuring Sleight of Hand artist Shin Lim, two-time winner of America's Got Talent and star of his own hit-sold-out-1,300 seat Las Vegas Show at the MIRAGE HOTEL and Tony Winner and star of the hit show Seinfeld, Jason Alexander, the two magicians will battle head to head performing acts of prestidigitation.  They will be surrounded by a large cast of talented singers, acrobats and dancers, performing to Stephen Schwartz's original electrifying soundtrack, along with new songs created for this live, musical extravaganza!
